After Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprise their roles as alternate versions of Peter Parker in “Spider-Man: No Return Home,” anything can happen…
Because of this, Marvel fans are wondering what other superheroes who gave birth to superheroes could make it to the MCU.
And as the “X-Men” will premiere sooner or later, will there be any cast members who will be able to reprise their roles?
During an interview with Screen Rant, Shawn Ashmore, singer of Bobby Drake the Iceman, was asked if he would be ready to reprise the role.
In response, he said:
“Look, after ‘Days of a Forgotten Future’ I had agreed anyway that this would be my last movie with this group of actors. Disney was taking over the rights to the “X-Men”, so I’m a little overwhelmed. It was like the end for the characters, say the cast of the original trilogy. And I kind of accepted that.

He went on to speak of a possible return:
“But obviously anything is possible, and I have no idea what they’re going to do. I don’t know if they’re going to launch completely new actors and start over or call in actors from the originals, I don’t know, I really don’t know. But if they called me, I would 100% agree. Without a doubt. I grew up playing this character. I am a fan of comics. These are things that interest me. So I would do it again without hesitation. But I kind of accepted the fact that I have four movies as an X-Men and I’m really happy with it.
Remembering that Ashmore’s most recent work in the comic book universe was in season 2 of ‘The Boys‘, in which he plays the Beam of Light, a Super who controls fire and helps Vought tame terrorists raised in an underground hospital.
During an interview with The Wrap, Ashmore joked about the coincidence between the characters and was asked who would win a fight between the Iceman and the Beam of Light.
In response, he said that:
“Honestly, I think The Iceman would win. Yeah I think so. But I will say one thing, Facho e Luz might have some advantages as he wouldn’t fight fair, I’m not sure. But if the fight was based purely on powers, the Iceman would easily win.
So, do you agree with him?
As of yet, there is no preview for Season 3 yet.
The new cycle will feature Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy), Laurie Holden (Countess Crimson), Sean Patrick Flanery (Supersonic), Nick Wechsler (Blue Hawk) and Miles Gaston Villanueva (Gunpowder).
