The story centers on lawyer Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner who receives a blood transfusion from the Hulk after being caught between life and death after being shot by bandits. Because of this, she ends up undergoing a transformation, becoming the Woman-Hulk. Unlike her cousin, she manages to keep control of her mind, but her human appearance disappears for good.

Over the years, she has become a highly respected heroine and has been a part of the “Avengers”, “Defenders” and even “Fantastic Four”.

Created by Stan Lee and John Buscema, she was introduced to Marvel comics in “The Savage She-Hulk” # 1, published in 1980.

Jessica Gao coordinates the editorial team.

According to The Direct site, the series will bring to life a very interesting and peculiar aspect of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: The Breaking of the Fourth Wall.

Reports indicate that there will be “several times” when Jennifer Walters / Woman-Hulk (Maslany) will address the public directly. Additionally, it is believed that Jennifer will know that she is a character within the MCU.

It’s worth remembering that despite the similarities to ‘Deadpool’ (which uses the same resource in the movies and the comics), Woman-Hulk is no stranger to breaking the Fourth Wall, as she did in The Sensational by John Byrne. She-Hulk comics, in which he constantly laughed at the heroes and reminded them that “they weren’t real.”
