According to The Cosmic Circus, the “Woman-Hulk” series will introduce the Demolition Gang to the MCU, a quartet of villains who gain strength after being enchanted by Asgardian magic.

For those unfamiliar with him, the characters were created by Len Wein and Sal Buscema in 1974, making their debut in the comic book ‘Os Defensores’ # 17.

The team is formed by the Destroyer leader and his three henchmen: Ram, Stake-Drive and Mace.

However, they were created with comic intent, as their stories repeat a constant cycle: they escape prison, fight, are defeated by superheroes, and return to prison.

The Demolition Gang has faced the Avengers, Captain America, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Namor, and the Thing before, in addition to their main foe: Thor.

It is not yet clear how the team will be adapted for the series, but it is possible that their powers will be reformulated and come from gamma rays.

But while the group does fit into the series’ narrative, the information has yet to be officially confirmed, so consider it a rumor.

Recalling that Kevin Feige, Creative Director of Marvel Studios, said the series will have 10 episodes of approximately 30 minutes each.

In addition to Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black”), the cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Mark Ruffalo, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Jameela Jamil and Tim Roth.

Kat Coiro and Anu Valia enter as directors of the series.

The story centers on lawyer Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner who receives a blood transfusion from the Hulk after being caught between life and death after being shot by bandits. Because of this, she ends up undergoing a transformation, becoming the Woman-Hulk. Unlike her cousin, she manages to keep control of her mind, but her human appearance disappears for good.

Over the years, she has become a highly respected heroine and has been a part of the “Avengers”, “Defenders” and even “Fantastic Four”.

Created by Stan Lee and John Buscema, she was introduced to Marvel comics in “The Savage She-Hulk” # 1, published in 1980.

Jessica Gao coordinates the editorial team.
