“Wonder Woman 1984” had already lost its “fresh” certificate on Rotten Tomatoes when its score dropped from 89% to 67% of the critics’ approval rating.
And it looks like the film has already become DC Comics’ new failure now that the rating has dropped to just 59%, giving the film the title of “ rotten. ”
For those who don’t know, the site aggregates reviews from around the world and gives the film a rating based on the overall analysis.
If a title drops below 75%, it is considered a “rotten tomato,” referring to the act of audiences throwing tomatoes at bad performers in plays.
Recalling that the sequence directed by Patty Jenkins joins the other “ rotten tomatoes ” of the DCEU, such as “ The Man of Steel ” (56%), “ Justice League ” (40%), “ Batman vs Superman ” (28%) and ‘Suicide Squad’ (26%).

Additionally, the feature film received a “B +” rating on CinemaScore, the same rating received for films considered to be a failure, such as “Suicide Squad” and “Justice League.”
Recalling that these two titles were the most criticized among the nine DCEU productions.
On the other hand, the first film “Wonder Woman” is among the most appreciated of the shared universe, with “Shazam!”, Both rated “A”.

CinemaScore research is already a tradition and has continued since 1978. Voting takes place directly in North American theaters, with audiences filling out voting cards right after watching a movie and assigning scores ranging from “A +” to ‘F’.
Despite this, “ Wonder Woman 1984 ” surprised the box office around the world, even though it was released simultaneously in the US for streaming.
The film has grossed $ 119 million worldwide so far, having aired in China and other overseas territories in late December.
