In an interview with NME, director Michael Chaves (‘The Curse of Weeping’) revealed that the sequel ‘Summoning Evil 3: The Order of the Devil’ had a post-credits scene, which was even filmed, but was cut from the final edition. .

“We filmed a post-credits scene. I will keep the appearance of the scene a mystery, as it may reappear in this franchise in a different form. We were very proud of the ending and felt it was a complete story. I’m not saying the door isn’t open to more adventures with the Warrens, but this movie felt like the end of a trilogy with a solid ending.

He adds: “The scene would introduce villains and ideas [para ‘Invocação do Mal 4’]. We were going to develop this concept. Basically, that would give us an idea of where we would go in the next movie. I’m glad I cut the scene because sometimes it feels like you’re already getting into a new sequel. While I love it as a movie buff, there’s something really cool about an ending without a new movie edge.

It’s worth remembering that “Summoning of Evil 3” currently has an 85% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Of the 13 opinions published, 11 are positive and 2 negative. The film’s average rating is 6.7 out of 10.
