‘Grace and Frankie’ Season 8 Is Not Happening

Grace and Frankie are concluded with 7 seasons. Unfortunately, we won’t get to see more of the incredible women’s friendship on screen. This news is an upsetting audience for the audience.

Kauffman said goodbye to the characters and the incredible story in a statement. “It’s always sad. It’s like – I keep using this child metaphor – it’s a little bit like your child is moving away to start a family somewhere else. You know, it’s time, it’s appropriate, but it’s really, really heart-breaking. And mainly because of, you know, breaking up this family.

And as much as we all really enjoy the work itself, it’s also breaking up the family and losing that community. So you know, with whom you spend 12 hours a day with.”

The Cancelation Of ‘Grace and Frankie’ Has Been Decided By Netflix

Kauffman explained in an interview that Netflix made the decision to pull the plug on the show. She said that there were definitely a number of reasons but Netflix doesn’t do long type of series anymore.

Kauffman said, “It was a combination of things. Netflix isn’t doing long-term series anymore. And we are really lucky that we got the seventh season.

I think when we started, we imagined seven seasons. But, really, this is the kind of decision that comes from Netflix. But as sad as I am that it’s ending, there’s something that makes sense about it.”

Do We Have ‘Grace and Frankie’ Season 8 Release Date?

No! Because the Grace and Frankie series has officially ended with seven seasons we won’t get any more. The story of the two lovely women has come to an end.

Netflix made a statement on the cancelation of the show. Cindy Holland, Netflix’s former VP of Original Series appreciated the team of the series.

She said, “Since its premiere in 2015, Grace and Frankie has expertly and hilariously demystified the experience of growing older and given a voice to the fastest-growing segment of our population.

Jane, Lily, Sam, and Martin have become role models for fans that span generations around the world, and we are so proud to have been a part of the show’s journey from day one. A special thanks to Marta, Howard, and the team at Skydance, who have been superb partners every step of the way.”

What Does The Cast Of ‘Grace and Frankie’ Think About The Ending?

Fonda and Tomlin both talked about the ending of this incredible series. The two said that they were heartbroken that the show had ended.

Fonda and Tomlin stated, “We are both delighted and heartbroken that Grace and Frankie will be back for its seventh, though final, season. We’re so grateful that our show has been able to deal with issues that have really connected to our grand generation.

And their kids, and amazingly, their kids as well. We’ll miss these two old gals, Grace and Frankie, as much as many of their fans will, but we’ll still be around. We’ve outlasted so many things—just hope we don’t outlast the planet.”
