Why can’t women practice EXORCISM? The director of “The Devil’s Light” answers!

Editor-in-chief Renato Marafon interviewed German filmmaker Daniel Stamm, responsible for directing the horror ‘A Luz do Demônio’ (The Devil’s Prey).

In the interview, Daniel revealed if he believes in exorcisms and explained why women can’t perform them.

“We just recorded an interview with a real exorcist. We asked him the same question, and his answer was interesting about why women can’t be exorcists. He said official exorcists are bishops The bishops are the heirs of the apostles of Jesus, who were all men. In the thought of the Catholic Church, the bishops cannot be women, because they are the descendants of the apostles. The Apostles were all men, I don’t know why. It must be in the bible somewhere. That’s why the answer to your question is ‘no,'” he said.
