What Is the PDU?
PDU is the abbreviation of the English word called the Professional Development Units. PDU is an assessment unit. Domestic institutions also called it the credit or the learning hours. PDU can be obtained in the following ways:
First, after obtaining the PMP certificate in the project management course, you can obtain PDU by completing the university professional course or the course related to project management.
Second, you can acquire them from the Professional Academic activities or self-study. PDU can be acquired through the professional academic activities. Most commonly you could use more than 1500 hours of project management practice per year to acquire 5 PDU (up to 15 PDU/CCR). PDU also can be acquired through the self-study.

What Is the Free Access to PDU?
Here are a few ways to get a free PDU for your reference.
1.Fill out the PMP online survey on the PMI website.
2.The submitted project management articles are accepted into the PMI library to be used by the PMI, and each article author/collaborator receives five PDU.
3.Self-study activities. Self-study activities that meet the requirements must be related to project management with the purposeful use of knowledge-based resources.
4. Project Management Services should be applied to more than 1,500 hours of project work experience per natural year.
