The last weekend of October saw the release of new titles, including La stranezza by Roberto Andò. The film, which counts in its cast Toni Servillo, Ficarra and Picone, managed to attract the attention of the public, debuting directly at the first place of the Italian box office last weekend. Nevertheless, the Halloween atmosphere influenced the choices of the spectators, also leaving a large place for the horror titles currently in the room. Arrived in theaters on October 27, La stranezza by Roberto Andò was the new title most rewarded by the public. Premiering at the Rome Film Festival, it’s a costume comedy starring Toni Servillo as Luigi Pirandello. The latter comes up against a couple of amateur theatre-goers, Sebastiano Vella and Onofrio Principato (Ficarra and Picone respectively), busy putting on a show.

The local film managed to surpass 1.1 million euros in just four days, debuting straight to the top of the local box office. Plenty of space also for international releases, in particular Black Adam, with Dwayne Johnson which in ten days exceeded the threshold of 3 million in total in our country, and the long-awaited Amsterdam by David O. Russell, which made its debut in third place. However, the effect of Halloween has been felt, so much so that among the top ten positions there are three horror stories, including Halloween Ends, the final chapter of the new trilogy with Jamie Lee Curtis and Smile .
