The meteorological situation in Italy continues to be marked by rising temperatures: the high pressure continues to invade the regions.
The climate of the Italian peninsula will continue to be affected by the African anticyclone. In fact, there are several regions that will experience a further increase in temperatures: what is happening.

During this week, it is abnormally hot on the Italian peninsula. The cause is to be identified in a vast anticyclonic promontory with an African matrix which already envelops a little of our country in these hours. Italy therefore faces a real anticyclonic monster, already known during the last torrid summer season and capable not only of enveloping a vast territory, but also of persisting for several days with its load of hot stability.
In these hours, the most marked heat is undoubtedly Sardinia, where peaks of 28/29 ° C have been reached or even a little more in the internal areas of the island. However, the heat will reach 25/26°C in cities like Bologna, Florence and Rome. This anticyclonic promontory could only be exhausted on weekends, when it gradually loses energy. So let’s find out all the forecasts for this day Thursday.

The week on the Italian peninsula will continue under the sign of the subtropical anticyclone recalled over most of Europe by a deep depression to the west of the British Isles. The anticyclonic peaks of these hours will hit various Italian regions. We will continue to have to deal with hot and dry air especially at high altitudes while in the lower layers the humidity will be high. So let’s find out what is happening in the three main sectors of the Italian peninsula.
Over the northern regions of Italy, we will have clear or partly cloudy skies in the morning. The only exception will be the low clouds that will cover Liguria, while the morning mists and fog banks will reduce the view along the Po. Thermal values will increase slightly, with highs ranging from 23 to 27 degrees.
While in the regions of central Italy we will have during the first hours of the day a slightly cloudy sky with local fog banks or low clouds at the coldest hours on the valley bottoms of Tuscany and from Umbria. Elsewhere, however, we will have no more disturbances. Temperatures will also rise slightly here, with highs ranging from 23 to 27 degrees.
Finally, over the regions of southern Italy we will have a start to the day with a little or partly cloudy sky. Greater variability, on the other hand, will characterize eastern Sicily, lower Calabria and Salento. Here temperatures will rise, with highs poised to fluctuate from 21 to 26 degrees.
