The Italian climate continues to be conditioned by the African anticyclone. In fact we will have a new week still under the sign of the heat.

The weather situation on the Italian peninsula is not going to change. We will therefore have another week marked by the African heat which will return to invade the peninsula: all forecasts.

At these hours the African anticyclone sees itself again on the peninsula. In fact, this Sunday and in the next few days, it will wrap Italy. We are now in mid-October and yet autumn is struggling to set in. Despite the fact that in recent days the weather has still been a little capricious in some regions, the real autumn season seems a long way off. After a rather mild and calm Sunday, this Monday will once again show a stable and resolutely warm meteorological context for the period.

A third phase of abnormal heat for our country is therefore about to open in the country, a kind of new Ottobrata that will take on exceptional characteristics. As proof, the temperatures that will occur in certain regions, such as the two Major Islands, where the column of mercury can even reach summer peaks close to 29/30°C, will take care of it. The only detuned notes will occur in the northern regions and on the Tyrrhenian side. So let’s find out what’s going on in the country.

This week will also open under the sign of the African anticyclone which will however still leave room for disturbed actions pushed by the Atlantic currents. So we will still have rain and showers on the Alps and the foothills. Despite this, there should be no significant phenomenon elsewhere, the week opening quietly. Let’s find out what is changing in the country’s three main sectors.

Over the regions of northern Italy we will have cloudy skies with light rain over eastern Piedmont, northwestern Lombardy and Friuli-VG. We will also have some sunny spells over the Alps, western Liguria and Emilia-Romagna. Temperatures will be stationary, with maximums between 20 and 25 degrees.

On the other hand, in the regions of central Italy, we will have a cloudy start to the day due to low clouds over Tuscany and Umbria. Elsewhere, however, we will have clear to partly cloudy skies with some passing fog. Temperatures are still rising slightly, with highs ranging from 22 to 27 degrees.

Finally, over the regions of southern Italy we will have slightly cloudy skies in the morning, except for low clouds in the morning on the Tyrrhenian side. Elsewhere, however, the sky will appear calm, without too many significant phenomena. Temperatures will be stable here too, with highs ranging from 23 to 29 degrees.
