Weather, imminent drop in temperatures: new disruption in Italy

Italy is ready to taste the winter air for the first time. Indeed, the first frosts also arrive on the plains. In these hours, the atmosphere took on connotations more suited to the month of November and in recent days, we have already witnessed a timid return of the rains. Over the weekend, however, the destination is bound to change drastically.
Thus, from the early hours of Saturday 19 and Sunday 20, the columns of mercury will approach more and more 0°C. This radical change will trigger the first frosts. The temperature differences, in particular the minimum ones, will be evident compared to this Friday, with Italy even ready to adopt a winter climate context. Obviously the rains will invade the peninsula, giving a little respite after a summer marked by drought.

A new disturbance will hit the Italian peninsula throughout the weekend. In fact, it approaches Italy in particular between Levante Liguria and upper Tuscany, where there could be phenomena of a stormy nature. But not only, in fact, the rains will extend over different regions from north to south, this southward shift of the rains will occur especially during the afternoon hours. Over the northern regions of Italy, we will have cloudy skies that will cover in the morning, with rains ready to wet Triveneto and Emilia-Romagna right away. These precipitations will end in the evening, with important clearings on all the sector. Temperatures will drop slightly, with highs ranging from 13 to 17 degrees.
While on the other hand in the central regions of Italy we will have rains and thunderstorms from the early hours of the day that will wet the west during the evening hours. Elsewhere, however, no other phenomena will be recorded. The thermal values here will be decreasing, with maximum values ranging from 15 to 21 degrees.
Finally, in the southern regions of Italy, we will have rains, showers and thunderstorms from the start of the day. These phenomena will be more likely on the Tyrrhenian side and in Sardinia. The rains will be light in the evening. Here too we will have falling temperatures, with highs ranging from 17 to 23 degrees.
