In the next few hours and until the end of the week, Italy will suffer a disturbed double attack likely to cause heavy rain with the risk of a few thunderstorms occurring locally. The rainy season officially opens and the current weather picture is now governed by the currents of the North Atlantic, capable of sending some disturbances in the direction of the Bel Paese. The only exception to this disturbed phase could be the southern regions.

Maximum attention rather on the northwest first, then on the sector of the middle and upper Tyrrhenian Sea and finally also on the rest of the north and center. The rains could first affect Liguria, then move towards Tuscany and northern Lazio. The most intense and abundant precipitation is therefore expected in these sectors, which could also take on the character of a thunderstorm and which in some cases could degenerate into downpours.

The second half of November will therefore be offered in a totally different way compared to the first two weeks. In fact, the rainy season is officially about to begin. The Atlantic flow will appear more decisive, also influencing the Italian regions. What awaits us is not only the arrival of simple disturbances but of unstable nuclei capable of forming even secondary eddies over the Mediterranean. So let’s find out in detail what is happening in the three main sectors.

Over the northern regions of Italy, we will have partly cloudy skies until the afternoon with widespread precipitation, especially over the northeastern regions, and snow above 1500 m. At the end of the day we will have great clearances. Despite the rains, temperatures will rise with highs ranging from 12 to 15 degrees.

While over the regions of central Italy, we will have very cloudy skies in the morning. But not only will there be widespread rains and showers, even heavy ones and with thunderstorms. In the evening we will have extensive clearance from different regions. The thermal values ​​will decrease, with highs ranging from 15 to 20 degrees.

Finally, over the regions of southern Italy, we will have a sky characterized by precipitation and thunderstorms arriving in the afternoon, especially on the Tyrrhenian side. Despite the rains, temperatures will rise here too, with maximum values ​​ranging from 17 to 23 degrees.
