The cold has finally arrived on the Italian peninsula and is about to make a big splash in the coming days. During this weekend, according to the weather forecast, the first frosts are expected, which will descend to the plains. Already in recent days, Italy has returned to a climatic condition more in line with the calendar. For the past few weeks, we have noticed how difficult it is for autumn to settle in. The arrival of some rains contributed to bring the climate closer to our climatic standards.

The next few days are therefore destined to offer us some sparkling scenarios across the country. After a Friday with thermometers which will not yet show any major upheavals, between Saturday and Sunday a cyclonic circulation is intended to affect the Center and the South above all, while going up towards the North we will witness a decisive collapse of the columns of mercury. , with temperatures close to zero. Winter is therefore ready to knock on Italy’s door, after a longer than expected summer.

During this weekend, an area of ​​low pressure will embrace Italy. The weather conditions will therefore be decidedly unstable between the center and the south of the country. The bad weather will be generalized especially in the areas of the lower Tyrrhenian Sea, more stable with clear passages to the North. In fact, elsewhere, there will be no more phenomena to report, at least for this day on Saturday. Let’s find out in detail what is happening in the three main sectors of the Italian peninsula.

In the northern regions of Italy we will have a decidedly cloudy start to the day, especially in the eastern part of Liguria and Emilia-Romagna. On the other hand, intermittent rains will wet the Apennines from 1400 meters. Over the rest of the sector, we will have rather few clouds. Here, the temperatures will drop considerably, with maximum values ​​ranging from 11 to 15 degrees.

While on the other hand in the regions of central Italy we will have a very cloudy sky in the morning, with generalized rains which will intensely hit Lazio and the regions bordering the Adriatic. The snow reappears on the Apennines from 1700 meters. Here too we will have decreasing thermal values, with maximum temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees.

Finally, over the regions of southern Italy, we will have very cloudy skies with rains and showers capable of hitting especially on the Tyrrhenian side. These phenomena could also take on a stormy character. Temperatures will also drop sharply here, with highs ranging from 14 to 22 degrees.
