Robert KingOscar-winning horror film “We” is now available on Netflix.
Highly acclaimed by specialist critics, the new feature film was regarded as a masterpiece, earning Peele the title “The Next Alfred Hitchcock”.
Recently, Peele revealed in an interview with Polygon that he would be ready to return for a sequel.
“I would definitely come back! It would be fun. There is a lot going on there. The “verse of us” … I like that. “, did he declare.
Peele explained that he created a detailed mythology for this cinematic world because it was practically a requirement to tell a story like this:
“I have all the mythology in this world because the audience can see it if you don’t see it. The line that I am exploring in this film is a very difficult line. Some people may want more explanation. Some people may want less explanation. I try to satisfy your appetite, but in the end, I try to give you enough context to be able to discuss and hypothesize about the story. When everything is very detailed, it’s not scary. “, did he declare.

“Us” has become the BIGGEST live-action movie opening since “Avatar” (which opened for $ 77 million 10 years ago).
The production also won the biggest premiere in the history of an 18-plus movie, overtaking “A Quiet Place” ($ 50.2 million).
Internationally, the feature grossed $ 16.7 million for a solid worldwide debut of $ 86.9 million.
Horror earned a 93% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and according to critical consensus, “Peele is developing a truly exciting and scary horror film.”
In the plot, “A mother and father take their children to their beach house in the hopes of relaxing and having fun with their friends. But as night falls, the serenity turns to tension and chaos after shocking visitors show up uninvited. “

USA (2019): It’s tempting to present #UsMovie as a feature film episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE – sometimes it’s more of a concept than characters – but that doesn’t do justice to the efficiency and entertainment of the movie throughout. These home invasion sequences are absolute events. pic.twitter.com/19jsq858jT

“Us (2019): It’s tempting to present ‘Us’ as an episode of Twilight Zone – and it’s sometimes more of a concept than characters – but that doesn’t do justice to the film’s effectiveness and engagement.” in general. These home invasion sequences are absolutely unique.
