Warner Bros. OFFICIALLY changes the name of the DCEU; Did you like the new?

It was confirmed yesterday that James Gunn has been hired as co-president of DC Studios, a division of Warner Bros. Discovery is in charge of adapting the publisher’s comic books into films, series and animations.

Known for his work on comic book-based films, such as both ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘The Suicide Squad’, Gunn will share the role with Peter Safran, who since 2018 has produced DC titles such as ‘Aquaman’ and “Shazam”. !” and its future sequels.

But that’s not all: Warner also revealed that the acronym known as DCEU will no longer be used by the company. Now fans can celebrate the start of a new era for the DCU.

After the news, Deadline claims that the contract with DC is exclusive and Gunn will not be able to work for Marvel under the supervision of Warner Media Discovery.

Before his departure, the director will release a ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’.
