What did Wanda release by accepting her powers?

Moments before defeating Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) with the runes, Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) hears from the witch that accepting the powers of the scarlet witch would unleash something terrible and that the young witch would need her to solve it. .
