Netflix has finally announced the release of the spinoff series “Vikings: Valhalla”.
The spin-off will launch on the platform on February 25.

The plot will dive into a new chapter in the spectacular Viking saga and begin at the start of the 11th century, focusing on the adventures of the most legendary Vikings who ever lived: Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson) , Harald Hardrada (Leo Suter) and King William the Conqueror. These men and women will make their names and fight to survive in a world marked by change and evolution.
The cast also features Jóhannes Jóhannesson as Olaf, Harald’s older brother; Bradley Freegard as King Canute of Denmark; Laura Berlin as the ambitious and wealthy Emma of Normandy; David Oakes as Earl Godwin, head of the King’s Council of England; and Caroline Henderson as the leader of Categate.
The original series was created by Michael Hirst and ran for six seasons and aired on the History channel.
