The long-awaited sequel ‘The Equalizer 3’, which will return Denzel Washington as Robert McCall, is in the midst of filming – but a recent situation on set in Italy has caused an uproar among the crew.
According to TMZ (via ComicBook.com), two salespeople working on the project were arrested on Tuesday, November 2, after being apprehended for possession of drugs at a hotel near the set. Italian paramilitary police discovered 120 grams of cocaine in their room.
The police search began after the death of a third supplier was found dead. The 55-year-old man died of a heart attack and “several sachets” of cocaine were found in his pockets. This led officers to suspect that more drugs were present at the hotel.
Despite this, the shooting schedule should not change.
Recalling that the recordings take place on the Amalfi Coast, in the Italian region of Campania.
