According to The Hollywood Reporter, legendary actor Tom Hanks (“Reporting from the World”) has joined the cast of acclaimed director Wes Anderson’s upcoming film.
With filming set to begin in August 2021, the project still has no title set and few details revealed. We know that filming will take place in Spain, but Anderson is “not yet ready to share information” on the film.
Hanks joins Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray and Adrien Brody, previously announced.
Swinton and Murray have worked several times with Anderson on projects such as “Moonrise Kingdom” (2012), “The Great Hotel Budapest” (2014) and “Island of Dogs” (2018). The trio also reunited for the famous “A Crônica Francesa”, which made its Cannes Film Festival debut and arrives in Brazil in October 2021.
