After months and months of speculation, rumors that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would return as Spider-Man variants in ‘Spider-Man’: No Return Home ‘have turned out to be real.
And with the positive backlash, it looks like Marvel and Sony have more plans for the heroes of the multiverse. In addition to rumors of Andrew Garfield returning in new films, FandomWire – which was one of the first sites to announce the return of the stars – has stated that Tobey Maguire will appear in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” .
The actor will make an appearance as his Spider-Man, the source said. As the film has undergone remakes recently, it’s likely that they were successful in getting Maguire back.
It should be remembered that Dr. Stephen Strange is mentioned in Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man 2”.
‘Doctor Estranho no Multiverso da Loucura’ hits national theaters on May 5.
