“Thor: Love and Thunder” presents [SPOILER!] to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

The text below contains SPOILERS!

“Thor: Love and Thunder” hits theaters nationwide tomorrow (07) and fans expect to see new characters introduced to the MCU.

And that’s what happens in the plot of the sequel, which features a version of the demigod Hercules, son of Zeus (Russell Crowe).

It all starts when Gorr (Christian Bale) kidnaps the children of New Asgard, so Thor and his team travel to Olympus to seek help from the Greek gods.

Unfortunately, they discover that Zeus doesn’t care about their battles, so Thor threatens to kill the arrogant deity after taking his famous golden bolt from him.

However, one of the post-credits scenes reveals that Zeus is still alive, angry, and vowing to make Thor “fall from the sky” so that humanity will learn to fear the gods again instead of seeing them as superheroes.

That’s when Zeus instructs his son, Hercules, played by Brett Goldstein (“Ted Lasso”), to go after Thor.

Enjoy watching:

In the comics, Hercules is usually portrayed as a hero, but he’s been introduced as a rival to Thor, and it looks like he’ll start out as an enemy of the God of Thunder in the MCU.

Still, it is possible that the character ends up defying his father and becoming a hero, but that only the future will tell.

Recalling that ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ arrives in national cinemas on July 7th.

Check out some reviews:

“Phase 4 of the MCU was pretty disappointing for the most part and I’m sad to say that ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ doesn’t do anything to get rid of it” – FlickDirect.

“The movie is very unbalanced, never feels well thought out, and doesn’t do justice to most of the characters” –

“’Thor: Love and Thunder’ is worth seeing at the cinema. However, I recommend going with lower expectations to maximize the fun. – The Movie Blog.

“Thor and Jane’s reunion is meant to be comedic and awkward, but the incredible lack of chemistry between them culminates in awkward moments” – Gone with the Twins.

“’Thor: Love and Thunder’ could also be called ‘Thor: Mourning and Comedy’ because of the way this superhero movie balances two themes with some results better than others” – Culture Mix.

The film takes Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on an unprecedented journey: the quest for self-knowledge. But his retreat is interrupted by a galactic assassin known as Gorr the Butcher of the Gods (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) who, to Thor’s surprise, inexplicably wields his hammer magical, Mjolnir, being the Mighty Thor. . Together they embark on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the Gods Butcher’s revenge and stop him before it’s too late.

The cast also includes Jaime Alexander (Lady Sif), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Christian Bale (Gorr, Butcher of the Gods) and Russell Crowe (Zeus).

Melissa McCarthy will play the “faux version” of Hela in the Asgard theater group, alongside Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth and Sam Neill.

Michael Giacchino (“Batman”, “Ratatouille”) is responsible for the soundtrack.
