Idris Elba has opened up about his return as Heimdall in the ‘Thor’ franchise.

The character is “apparently” dead at the start of “Avengers: Infinite War”.

Now that the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse has opened up, Elba says “anything is possible” regarding the return of his seer Marvel.

“I think the restrictions of the superhero universe are nonexistent, so anything is possible. I think Heimdall is an amazing character and still exists,” Elba told Entertainment Tonight.

Like Loki, Heimdall was killed during the opening scene of “Avengers: Ultimatum”, so it would be difficult to bring the character back to life, especially after the events of “Ultimatum”.

But after Natalie Portman returns to the franchise, fans want more familiar faces brought back to the MCU.

“Thor: Love and Thunder” (Thor: Love and Thunder) is scheduled for release on May 6, 2022.

In addition to Natalie Portman, the cast includes Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. Directed by Taika Waititi.

Waititi was responsible for the script and directing of the character’s previous film, “Thor: Ragnarok,” which was met with great acclaim by critics and fans alike and grossed over $ 850 million worldwide!
