Season 2 of the popular ‘The Witcher’ series is out now on Netflix. The new batch of episodes debuted this Friday (17) on the streaming schedule.
Created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the series is based on a literary saga written by the Polish Andrzej Sapkowski.
Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), a lone monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often turn out to be meaner than beasts. But when fate leads him to a mighty witch and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the ever-expanding and volatile continent together.
The current round opened with 95% critics approval on Rotten Tomatoes, with a rating of 7.90 / 10, based on 21 reviews. According to a general consensus, the new cycle “widens [a série] in the best possible way – and, most importantly, it’s still a lot of fun.
