Netflix has released a special behind-the-scenes video for “The Witcher” Season 2, revealing Kaer Morhen’s first glimpse.
For those unfamiliar with him, Kaer Morhen is the fortress where Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) trained to become the mighty wizard of the continent.
The video explores the venue’s many rooms, including a beautiful central room and a training area, which Ciri (Freya Allan) will use a lot.
The Great Hall has a series of tables that are sometimes empty due to the smaller number of witches occupying the fortress.
A fire is further into the room, overshadowed by a huge tree in the center. This tree is called the Medallion Tree, which has a plethora of wizarding medallions hanging from its branches, honoring the Wolf School warriors who have passed through it over the years.
Then the video shows an arsenal with mounts for spears, swords, shields, and armor, and we can even take a look at the silver swords used to take down monsters.
There is one more snippet in the lab where wizards are created… In the books and games, the only ones who knew about the process of creating wizards died during the attack on the fortress, but there is no way to know if this will fit in the series.
