“The Witcher: Legend of the Wolf”: the animated spin-off gets a new teaser focused on Veremir

In addition to “The Witcher: Blood Origin”, the series “The Witcher” will have a new spin-off, titled “The Witcher: Legend of the Wolf”.

To promote the spin-off animation, which debuts on August 23, Netflix has released a teaser featuring the character of Veremir, a wizard who predates Geralt of Rivia.

Created by Hissrich, the series is based on a literary saga written by the Polish Andrzej Sapkowski.

Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), a lone monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often turn out to be meaner than beasts. But when fate leads him to a powerful witch and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the ever-growing and unstable continent together.

The cast also includes Millie Brady, Freya Allan, Anna Shaffer, Jodhi May, Anya Chalotra and Björn Hlynur Haraldsoon.
