According to Deadline, Michael Imperioli, known for his incredible work as Christopher on the “The Sopranos” series, was cast in Season 2 of “The White Lotus”, one of HBO’s recent hits.
The actor will bring to life Dominic Di Grasso, a guest of the hotel’s title holder who travels with his elderly father and a son who has just graduated from college.
Recalling that Jennifer Coolidge will reprise her role as alcoholic socialite Tanya McQuoid in the next cycle.
More plot details have not been revealed.
For those who haven’t, the narrative centers on the guests and employees of White Lotus, a resort hotel set in an idyllic paradise. As the holidays unfold, however, obscure situations arise between the characters and within the hotel itself.
Coolidge has received praise for his performance in the acid comedy created by screenwriter Mike White (“School of Rock”), so his return is no surprise.

In an interview with the portal, the filmmaker had already shared his desire to bring back certain characters from the previous season.
“We’ll take a different path the next time the public enters the White Lotus neighborhoods, but we’re no longer in Hawaii. This time we’re going to be in The White Lotus: San Tropez ‘or something like that, and I don’t think we’ll see a lot of guests from Season 1, but it’s going to be a Marvel Shared Universe thing where some of the between them will return. We had one-season deals with the cast, so we had to figure out who will be available. “
