“The White Lotus”: the creator talks about a possible season 2

In an interview with TVLine, Mike White, creator of ‘The White Lotus’, discussed a possible 2nd season, revealing that if it wins another round, the production will follow an anthology format with a new cast.

“We speak [sobre uma possível 2ª temporada], but there is still nothing good. The plot of the new cycle should take place in another hotel, like: “Le Lotus Blanc: San Tropez” or something like that. I believe there is no way to have all the guests from the first vacation on the same vacation again. We could do like the Marvel universe, where some might come back.

He adds, “We signed a one-season deal with the cast, so we had to figure out who would be available to come back.”

The plot centers on the guests and staff of the White Lotus, a resort hotel set in an idyllic paradise. As the holidays unfold, however, dark intrigues emerge between the characters and within the hotel itself.

The cast consists of Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario, Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney and Steve Zahn.
