The show was again filmed in Italy, but this time moved from Sicily north of Rome to Lumina Studios. Previously, the series was filmed in a resort town that closed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Titled “White Lotus: Sicily,” the next cycle will focus on a new cast – with just a few returning familiar faces.
Jennifer Coolidge returns and the cast will also include F. Murray Abraham, Aubrey Plaza, Adam DiMarco, Meghann Fahy, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli and Theo James.
Recall that, recently, the first season earned 20 Emmy Award nominations and won the statuettes for Best Miniseries, Anthology or TV Movie, Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries, Anthology or TV Movie for Coolidge and Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Miniseries, Anthology or TV Movie for Murray, plus seven other awards.
