AMC has released the official synopsis for the final season of “The Walking Dead,” revealing new details about the challenges Survivors will face in the final cycle.
Check:
“Our survivors have faced demons from the past and fought new threats, with friendships and relationships suffering the growing collateral damage of the apocalypse. Alexandria is gravely engaged in the devastation left by the Whispers. Now all who live there are fighting to fortify it and feed its growing number of inhabitants, including survivors of the fall of the Kingdom and the burning of the top of the hill; with Maggie and her new group, the Guardians. Alexandria has more people than it can feed and protect. Their situation is dire as tensions rise with past events and self-preservation surfaces within broken walls.
“They need to get more food as they attempt to restore Alexandria before it collapses, like countless other communities they have encountered over the years. But how are they going to do it? More despondent and hungrier than ever, they must strive to find the strength to protect the lives of their children, even if it means losing theirs.
“Meanwhile, unbeknownst to those in Alexandria, Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko and the Princess are still being held captive by mysterious soldiers who are members of a larger and lesser-known group.”
Keep in mind that the final season will air on August 22.
