The video shows the visual effects production of “Ms Marvel”

‘Mrs. Marvel’ surprised everyone, the series with Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), where we see the heroine awakening her latent powers.

And one of the things that caught my attention the most was the huge number of visual effects, and now a new video shows how this process was done.

“‘Ms. Marvel’ is a new original series featuring Kamala Khan, a young Muslim American teenager from New Jersey City. An avid gamer and voracious fan-fiction reader, Kamala is a superhero megafan with a gigantic imagination. – especially when it comes to Captain Marvel. Iman Vellani brings the titular protagonist to life, alter-ego of Kamala Khan, a Jersey City-born Pakistani-American teenager who is a fan of superheroes, especially “Captain Marvel.”

Laurel Marsen plays Zoe Zimmer, a character who appeared early in the original comics and was one of the bullies who abused Kamala Khan at school. Eventually, the two grow closer and develop a mutual respect that borders on friendship.

Aramis Knights, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Linz, Zenobia Shroff, Anjali Bhimani and Mohan Kapur are also part of the cast.

In the plot, Kamala is affected by the Terrigen Mist, responsible for creating the Inhumans. When she wakes up with superpowers, she decides to be a heroine like her idol and adopts the Captain’s former alias, Miss Marvel.

Directed by directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, responsible for the popular sequel “Bad Boys Forever”. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon are also joining the project to direct additional chapters.

Obaid-Chinoy is best known for winning two Oscars for the short documentaries “Saving Face” (2012) and “A Girl in Rio” (2015). Menon already has a series of TV credits on his CV, such as “The Walking Dead”, “The Punisher”, in addition to the “Titans” series, from the DC universe.

Bisha K. Ali joins as showrunner.
