The policeman Josué must solve a crime against the businessman Valmir, in a small town in the hinterland. The story unfolds through three points of view. First: the crime is told by Cicero, the hired killer. Second: the story is told from the point of view of Francisca, the fiancée of the businessman. Third: the point of view of Valmir, who survived, is exposed.
