‘The Suicide Squad’: Understanding the Post-Credits Scenes of the Adaptation

“O Squadron Suicida” has already hit theaters and the plot of the film lives up to its title, showing the deaths of several members of Task Force X during a suicide mission.

However, the post-credits scene reveals that Peacemaker (John Cena) will have a second chance in DCEU’s future.

As audiences already know, HBO Max is developing a series of the character and one of the post-credits scenes is kicking off the attraction.

At the start of the film, Peacemaker would be murdered by Bloodsport (Idris Elba) after killing Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) at the behest of Amanda Waller (Viola Davis).

But once the titles launch, the post-credits scene shows Peacemaker being in a hospital while being watched by two agents from ARGUS, the organization that controls villains.

One of them, John Economos (Steve Agee) seems dissatisfied with the idea of ​​keeping an eye on the villain and considers it a punishment for defying Waller’s orders.

On the other hand, his partner, Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland), believes that finding him alive means that they can now “save the f # rr * around the world”.

For those who don’t know, Agee and Holland have been confirmed as cast members for the “Peacemaker” series starring Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Freddie Stroma and Chukwudi Iwuji.

As of now, the plot of the attraction is unclear, but we now know that this is not a pre-sequence.

As such, it’s possible the series will exploit the character of Cena by trying to break free from Argus’ shackles while also battling the doubts and torments that can come after killing Flag.
