HBO has released the captioned “The Righteous Gemstones” Season 2 trailer.

The next cycle will officially begin on January 9.

The series was created by Danny McBride, who also stars in the production.

The story follows a family known to have the most powerful evangelical religious leader in America. Satirically, the series shows how the family embezzles, keeps and wastes money using religion.
