In an interview with Deadline, Anya Taylor-Joy, who played Beth Harmon in the acclaimed miniseries Gambito da Rainha, revealed that she has some ideas of what we might see in a hypothetical 2nd season.
“It’s surreal and incredible that people want a 2nd season because we never thought about it, there was no discussion about it. Having said that, never say “never” in Hollywood ”.
She continues, “It would be very interesting to see what Beth would be like as a mother, now that she is sober and knows the demons that can bring her down.”
Recalling that Taylor-Joy was applauded for her performance of the work, winning a Golden Globe nomination and another at the SAG Awards in the category of best actress in a mini-series / TV movie.
The series is based on the novel of the same name by Walter Trevis, released in 1983.
