‘The Morning Show’: ‘Santa Clarita Diet’ Natalie Morales Confirmed for Season 3

According to Variety, Natalie Morales, known for her work on works such as “Santa Clarita Diet” and “Dial Amiga para Matar”, has been confirmed in the 3rd season of “The Morning Show”.

The actress will play Kate Danton, the best friend of Stella (Greta Lee), from Stanford. Both characters were part of a startup program overseen by Paul Marks (Jon Hamm).

Morales joins former cast members Tig Notaro and Nicole Beharie.

Recalling that Julianna Margulies (“The Good Wife”) has had her return confirmed in the next iteration.

The actress plays Laura Peterson, a journalist introduced in the production’s second cycle, who had a love interest in Bradley, a Reese Witherspoon character.

About her character, Margulies said: “Laura is completely different from the other characters on the show because she is 100% comfortable with herself. She is the only character in the series who does not have skeletons in her closet. It’s all common knowledge and she’s the best at what she does, with no fear of anything being taken away from her.

The series was created by Jay Carson and Kerry Ehrin.
