The animation ‘The Mitchell Family and the Machine Rise’ is now available on Netflix, and to promote it, the streaming platform has released a behind-the-scenes video exploring the work’s revolutionary construction process.

The sci-fi comedy revolves around any family who, like all families in the world, has become dependent on their cell phones. But it becomes a problem when all electronic devices take notice and turn against humanity.

Originally titled “ Super Conectados ”, the film produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (“ Spider-Man Into Spider-Man ”) saw its title changed by Netflix after acquiring the rights to exhibit Sony Animation.

Michael Rianda (“Gravity Falls”) directs the production based on the screenplay written by Jeff Rowe.

Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Eric Andre and Olivia Colman are the stars.
