The ceremony started around 10.15 am today, Saturday 22 October. Yesterday, the leader of the Brothers of Italy unreservedly accepted the post of Head of State, after two days of consultations. Following the reading of the ritual formula, the formal act was performed with which she officially became the first female president in the history of the Italian Republic.
