“The Many Saints of Newark” (“The Many Saints of Newark”), a pre-sequel to the acclaimed “The Sopranos” series, is now available on HBO Max and, to promote it, the streaming platform has released a new video sharing behind-the-scenes production secrets.

In the film, Jon Bernthal (“The Punisher”) stars as Giovanni Francis “Johnny Boy” Soprano, father of crime boss Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), originally played by Joseph Siravo in six episodes of the series HBO.
In the lead role of Giovanni’s wife and Tony’s mother, Livia Soprano, is Vera Farmiga (“Summoning of Evil”), in a role originally played by Nancy Marchand.
