Recently, Pedro Pascal revealed that recordings for Season 3 have yet to start, sparking speculation that the premiere is delayed.
And, according to Collider, the attraction’s next episodes are not scheduled to air until late 2022.
This is because the sets used for the production in Los Angeles are used by the crew of the miniseries focused on “Obi-Wan Kenobi”.
As most of the plot for the upcoming attraction will also take place at Tatooine, Lucasfilm and Disney + have decided to prioritize the project before resuming work involving “The Mandalorian.”
Therefore, recordings for Season 3 are only expected to start after ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ ends, i.e. at the end of this year or early next year.
Either way, fans of the saga will not be left without news, as ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ premieres in December 2021.
On his Twitter profile, Ming-Na Wen revealed that recordings for Season 1 of the spinoff series have already been completed.
The performer of Fennec Shand in ‘The Mandalorian’ shared with her followers some goodies that she won after the end of production.
“Star Wars latex gloves and shorts.” I know, sexy “, she wrote in the caption.

For those who don’t remember, ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 ended with a post-credits scene showing Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) returning to Tatooine and taking over the planet after murdering Bib Fortuna. (Matthew Wood).
Fortuna was Jabba the Hutt’s staunch servant and took office after the leader’s death in Return of the Jedi.
The post-credits scene served as an introduction to “The Book of Boba Fett,” which will explore Fett’s dominance over the criminal underworld.
A few months ago, the official “O Mandalorian” page released the logo and production details.
