Via Twitter, Disney + announced the release of a special Disney Gallery episode dedicated to the creation of Luke Skywalker in season 2 of “The Mandalorian”.
The attraction, scheduled to open on August 25, will explore behind the scenes of the episode that brought the Jedi Master back after the events of “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi”.
And a Twitter page confirmed that Mark Hamill reprized his role as a powerful Jedi Master and recorded the scenes before the character was rejuvenated through visual effects.

Throughout the special, the production team will explain how they managed to rejuvenate Hamill and how they managed to keep his appearance in the praised episode a secret.

Recalling that the 2nd season of “The Mandalorian” maintained the highest standard of the series – and its success was recognized when the nominees for the 2021 Emmy Awards were announced.
Earning no less than 24 nominations, the production was the most nominated alongside “The Crown”. She competes in categories such as Best Drama, Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Giancarlo Esposito and Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series for Timothy Olyphant and Carl Weathers.
The winners will be announced on September 19.
Remembering that the next cycle should not start until next year.
The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, confronting enemies and making allies, as they traverse the dangerous galaxy during the time of the fall of the Galactic Empire.
Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito are the stars. Directors for the new season include: Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez.
