Robert KingThe Mandalorian season 3 trailer is finally out. Din Djarin and Grogu return to Mandalore as the bounty hunter relentlessly tries to regain his Mandalorian title. Disney+ takes us back to the Star Wars universe. Fans are excited to know who will be in this season.
This is the first teaser trailer for The Mandalorian 3 in which the disturbing words of The Armorer stand out: “You are no longer a Mandalorian”. The highly anticipated third season of The Mandalorian gives fans hope to see beloved characters again, and it’s clear that the next batch of episodes will shift the plot to another theme. The events of The Book of Boba Fett have seen the bounty hunter stripped of his Mandalorian status, so his focus now is on regaining that title.
As expected, Bo-Katan Kryze’s mission to restore his home is about to be featured in the story. The twist will be to understand if Din Djarin will find in her an ally or an enemy. In the contribution we can see Carl Wathers as Greef Karga and we even see a planet that could be Naboo.
The series will obviously be broadcast on Disney + and is produced by LucasFilm since it bases its universe on that of Star Wars after the events of Return of the Jedi and before Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It chronicles the adventures of a Mandalorian gunslinger beyond the borders of the New Republic: after the fall of the Empire, anarchy has spread across the galaxy. In fact, The Mandalorian tells the story of a lonely sleeper, in this political climate, who operates alone on the edge of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic. The protagonist is played by Pedro Pascal as a Mandalorian.

The series is produced and written by Jon Favreau, producer of The Lion King and Avengers. In the cast we find Carl Weathers, Nick Nolte, Emily Swallow, Taika Waititi, Giancarlo Esposito.
Who might we see again in the new The Mandalorian 3 season
With the return of the new season, we could see the return to the stage of several characters, favorites of the Star Wars fan base, both from the Mandalorian universe of previous seasons, and from the world of Star Wars. According to an indiscretion concerning the third season, we may even see more than one wookie.

The rumor comes from Bespin Bulletin, a reliable source: the post talks about the filming of the new season and anticipates that more than one wookie could show up. Obviously everyone immediately thinks of Chewbacca but there are other wookies whose appearance is much more likely. Among these stands out Black Krrsantan, a bounty hunter who once collaborated with Boba Fett.
Along with our furry friends, we also got to reunite with one of the many Mandalorians who made an appearance in Star Wars: Rebels: Fen Rau who led the Mandalorian Protectors after the fall before the original trilogy. Initially an ally of the Empire, the series sees him become an ally of the Ghosts.
2. Durge
A bounty hunter who had been around since before Yoda appeared in the trilogy storyline. Durge is one of the fiercest warriors to have established himself in the saga. Armed with an array of deadly weaponry and fueled by a hatred of Mandalorians, Durge has been a fan favorite since his introduction in the Republic comic series in 2003. Although Durge may hail from the Expanded Universe, The Mandalorian has used many EU concepts with great success. Also, what would have been a better enemy for a character that pierces impenetrable armor than a nearly indestructible fighter?
3. Hondo Ohnaka
Debuting for the first time in the first season of The Clone Wars, Hondo Ohnaka is a pirate mercenary: where the money is, there is her. Since appearing on stage, he’s played friend and foe in various cartoons, comics, and even a Disney theme park! Hondo could even become the show’s Han Solo, resulting in a character arc bigger than anything he’s ever endured.
4. Same version
An elite Imperial Special Forces operative, Iden Versio was the protagonist of Battlefront II’s campaign mode. After the Empire’s defeat at Endor, Versio made the decision to join the rebellion and even fought in the pivotal battle on Jakku that ultimately ended the war. While the focus of season three seems to be the fight for Mandalore, it’s no surprise that the New Republic seems to be a growing force within the series. If the New Republic lends Mandalore a hand, few would be of better help than the former commander of Inferno Squad.
5. Embo
He’s a bounty hunter, he’s an amazing fighter, and he wears a really cool hat. Honestly, why shouldn’t Embo be in the next season of The Mandalorian? With the likes of Cad Bane and Ahsoka Tano having appeared on these shows before, an appearance from Embo doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch. Not to mention he’s voiced by series co-creator Dave Filoni!
6. Sabine Wren
A member of the Ghost crew and a Mandalorian with an eye for art, Sabine Wren was from Clan Wren and entered the Imperial Academy before coming into contact with the Rebel Alliance. She was one of the main heroines of Rebels and always had a creative approach to taking down the Empire. Given that Sabine is already set to appear in the upcoming Ahsoka series, an appearance in The Mandalorian could serve as a good starting point for how the character will be portrayed in live-action. His unique personality among other Mandalorians might also help Din Djarin demonstrate that there’s more to being a Mandalorian than just wearing a helmet and taking a sacred vow.
7. Cobb Vanth
First appearance in the Aftermath trilogy of novels: Before making his live-action debut in The Mandalorian’s second season, Vanth is a Tatooine sheriff who donned Boba Fett’s iconic armor after the bounty hunter was plunged into the Sarlacc. He is a sheriff as honorable as he is loyal to the inhabitants of the city he protects, Freetown. Considering the character was the last thing audiences saw in The Boba Fett Book, it’s safe to say we’ll see more of this gunslinger in due course. As the Mandalorians prepare to go to war against the remnants of the Empire, he might even get his own armor!
8. Bossk
A bounty hunter who can come face to face with Boba Fett, Bossk is a Trandoshan who loves the satisfaction of catching his prey. In many ways, it’s the closest Star Wars has to its version of the legendary Predator. The deadliest bounty hunters in the “Star Wars” galaxy, from Stormtroopers to nearly invincible droids, one thing they haven’t used are bounty hunters. If the Empire is still pursuing Grogu in this third season, Bossk would be the one to make sure that goal is achieved.
9. Hera Syndulla
Pilot of the Ghost and leader of its fellow rebel cell, Hera Syndulla must be one of the greatest heroes the Alliance has ever seen. The daughter of a freedom fighter, Hera is ready to fight to her last breath to purge the Empire’s tyranny from the galaxy. Throughout the series so far, two X-Wing pilots have made a few appearances here and there, seemingly to establish the New Republic’s presence in the series. Revealing that these riders come from a team led by Hera would be both a nice surprise and a great tie-in to the upcoming Ahsoka series.
10. Grand Admiral Thrawn
Teased in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, Grand Admiral Thrawn is one of the smartest (and most menacing) masterminds in the Empire. It hails from Timothy Zahn’s beloved trilogy of novels before entering the new canon via Rebels, and its story appears to be far from over.
