The second film showed the blind man as the protagonist of the story, turning him into an antihero (unlike the first film, where he is a villain).
The third film is still in its early stages, possibly awaiting the outcome of the second film at the box office to get the green light to exit the role.
Although hampered by the rise of the new COVID variant, the sequel has managed to raise $ 35.9 million globally, on a budget of $ 15 million.
