Through his Instagram, actor Andrew Horton, interpreter of Brandon Sampson in ‘The Legacy of Jupiter’, said he was devastated by the cancellation of the series.
“I am devastated. Being part of ‘Jupiter’s Legacy’ has been a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget. I am sad that we cannot continue this journey. I feel like we still have a lot of things to talk about, but as Jim Carey once said, “It’s like that.
Despite the cancellation, the universe of “Jupiter’s Legacy” will gain continuity in “Supercrooks”, a spin-off focused on villains.
The plot of the spinoff series will follow a disorganized gang of supervillains, crooks and petty thieves who band together for the robbery of the century and the most scandalous criminal story you’ve ever seen in your life. Crime pays and they will prove it. Some people just want to have fun and make some dirty money doing it. If the superheroes get in their way, they will run out of teeth.
“After nearly a century of keeping humanity safe, the world’s first generation of superheroes must trust their children to carry on the legacy. But tensions mount as young superheroes, eager to prove their worth, struggle to live up to their parents’ legendary public reputation – and demanding personal standards. “
The cast of the original series includes Josh Duhamel (Sheldon Sampson), Ben Daniels (Walter Sampson); Leslie Bibb (Grace Sampson), Elena Kampouris (Chloe Sampson), Andrew Horton (Brandon Sampson), Mike Wade (Fitz Small) and Matt Lanter (George Hutchence).
