A while ago, Machine Gun Kelly rocked the red carpet with a diamond-encrusted manicure: today, from those diamonds, a limited-edition capsule collection for charity was born.

A few months ago, on the occasion of the Billboard Music Awards 2022, Machine Gun Kelly launched a new beauty trend on the red carpets, in particular by reviving his manicure. The singer, boyfriend and future husband of Megan Fox came up with a jewel manicure that immediately started the trend. After some time since then, this trend has not only faded, but even inspired a capsule collection. Well yes: it seems that this luxury manicure worth 30,000 euros has become a collection. Not really accessible to everyone, but still available on the market.

Jewel nails set the trend: a capsule collection is born

Extravagance is at home when it comes to Machine Gun Kelly. She is definitely not afraid to dare, in music as in fashion and she has shown it on the red carpets. Backed by Megan Fox, he won over the most skeptical with a jewel manicure that went viral. This idea was then taken further and exploited by a jewelry brand that wanted to create a capsule collection for charity. The collection itself has 18 pieces made up of 880 recycled diamonds from the look proposed by the artist on the red carpet of the Billboard Music Awards.

The cost of the collection, being diamonds, is not negligible. Retail pieces, according to WWD, range from $1,950 to $5,000. All profits will then be donated to charity at a foundation that works in favor of Shaker Heights High School, a reality very dear to Machine Gun Kelly. One of the must-have pieces from the collection inspired by jewelry nails features four ring styles featuring white and black diamonds in 14k yellow, white and rose gold.

Thinking of the singer’s jewel manicure on the red carpet a while ago, Sassone told People, “Creating MGK’s diamond nails was a natural progression from the intersection of nail art and jewelry. “. Already then, he said that manicure diamonds would soon find new life, recycled for a collection of limited-edition rings.
