Looking for a really scary thriller to watch? Then you should see ‘Cage’. The Spanish horror debuted on Netflix to little fanfare and became the platform’s MOST-VIEWED film.
‘Cage’ (The Chalk Like) delivers suspense, dread and manages to hold the attention from start to finish.
The plot follows Paula (Elena Anaya) and her husband (Pablo Molinero), returning from a dinner party when they encounter a girl (Eva Tennear) wandering alone on the road. Two weeks later, after discovering that no one is asking for her, they decide to temporarily take her into their home and thus change their life as a couple.
It won’t be easy, because the young girl is obsessed with the fantasy of a monster who will punish her if she leaves a painted chalk square on the floor. After the strong bond that the two create, Paula will begin a journey through dark paths to try to uncover the enigma of the girl’s past.
