‘The Greatest Showman 2’: Hugh Jackman on the musical’s possible sequel

In an interview with Variety, star Hugh Jackman returned to comment on a possible sequel to ‘The Greatest Showman’ musical, which became a massive big-screen hit in 2017.

“There is always a chance for a sequel. I have done several sequels in my career, but there are no projects yet. [para ‘O Rei do Show 2’]. There is no script for a sequel.

Previously, Jackman had already commented on a possible sequel: “Listen, if you know anything about my filmography, you know that I am against any kind of sequel. No more than nine films!” he joked in a comment. to People magazine, alluding to having played Wolverine several times in the “X-Men” franchise, “I’m always open to that possibility, if they have a good idea. Yes, I’m open!”

Despite mixed reviews, “The Greatest Showman” has grossed over $434 million worldwide, spanning nearly 220 days.
