“The Good Doctor”: Season 5 Gets a Release Date

ABC has finally announced the release of Season 5 of “The Good Doctor”.

The next cycle will officially begin on September 27.

Remember that Antonia Thomas, who played Dr Claire Browne, will not be back next season. On the other hand, Osvaldo Benavides, interpreter of Dr Mateo Rendón Osma, was promoted to the regular cast of the fifth year.

The plot centers on Dr. Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with Autism and Savant Syndrome who leaves a quiet country life to join the surgical unit of a prestigious hospital. Alone in the world and unable to personally connect with those around him, Shaun uses his extraordinary medical gifts to convince his colleagues and save the lives of patients.

The cast includes Freddie Highmore, Nicholas Gonzalez, Antonia Thomas, Tamlyn Tomita, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff, Christina Chang, Paige Spara, Fiona Gubelmann, Jasika Nicole and Will Yun Lee.

“The Good Doctor” is already renewed for season 5.
