The Flash Season 9 will have 13 episodes and will be split into two story arcs based on graphic novels. It will release on February 8, 2023. The official posters have also been released, and it looks fantastic.

The official Twitter account penned, “Saving the world comes at a cost. The final season of #TheFlash begins Wednesday, February 8 on The CW!”

The showrunner Eric Wallace teased the storyline of season 9 saying, “The next thing is, what’s in the box, right? [Laughs] Oh, I’m not gonna tell you that. Tune in [for] Season 9 and you will find out immediately what’s in the box.

The big clue as to what’s in the box is the voice. That is Danielle Panabaker’s voice, so some version of Danielle Panabaker’s coming out of that box. The question is, which one? Let the debate begin because there are many ways to go.”

A new season trailer has been released, and it depicts Barry Allen fighting to save the timeline. Barry mentioned a ‘Map Book,’ which predicts what will take place before it happens. “This new Speedster wants to build a time machine,” he adds.

The entire timeline is most likely at stake. “Timeline will be at stake,” he said. And he needs help in order to save the world. The final season will feature Flash’s final run. “Let’s do this one last time,” Barry says at the end of the trailer.

The showrunner also mentioned that spectators can expect “a very emotional reunion.”
