‘The Flash’: Cyborg will no longer be part of the adaptation

Despite earlier rumors that Cyborg (Ray Fisher) would return to the DCEU in “The Flash,” writer and reporter Mark Hughes (Huffington Post) said the information was not true.

Additionally, he stated that the character would not be played by another, as rumors circulated after the fight between Fisher and DC Films President Walter Hamada.

For those who don’t know, Fisher has accused Hamada of contributing to the abusive behavior of producer Geoff Johns behind the scenes of “ Justice League ” and said Warner does not charge for executive satisfaction.

On his Twitter profile, Hughes made it clear that:

“The rumors about the Cyborg postponement are lies. The truth is that the character will not be in “The Flash” and the role is not reworked. I confirmed this with the studio. The rumor is FALSE. ”

However, this was not revealed as the Cyborg will not be in the movie, so it is not known if the character’s absence is related to the fight between Fisher and Hamada.

Recalling that the Backstage site announced that the recording of the Flash solo film will begin in April of this year.

Filming will take place at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, UK.

As of yet, further details have not been revealed, so it’s unclear how long the recordings will last.

However, updates are expected to be released in the coming months.

Recently, screenwriter Christina Hodson (“Birds of Prey”) joined director Andy Muschietti (“It: The Thing”) and her sister, producer Barbara Muschietti.

Apparently, the plot will follow Barry Allen (Miller) ‘s journey through the DC Multiverse, as Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton have been confirmed to cast, reprising their roles as Batman.

Remember that the premiere is scheduled for November 4, 2022.
